Where scent and touch work in harmony

Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic benefits of full-body massage with the healing properties of pure essential oils, custom-blended to suit your mood, body, and wellness goals. As skilled hands work through soothing, flowing strokes, carefully selected botanical essences are absorbed through the skin and gently inhaled.

Your therapist will ask you to select two oils. The AromaTouch Technique layers eight doTERRA Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils along the spine and back, plus two additional oils on the feet.
The Neighborhood

A few fun facts about Cow Hollow

Serenity sits on Union Street at the foot of one of San Francisco’s grandest neighborhoods.

1853

The oldest building still standing in Pacific Heights, the Leale House on Pacific Avenue, predates the neighborhood itself by nearly two decades.

1870s

Pacific Heights took shape as cable car lines reached the ridge, and small Victorian homes began climbing the hill that gives the neighborhood its name.

1906 and beyond

Many of those early Victorians were lost in the great earthquake and fire. What rose in their place – grander Edwardian and Victorian mansions – is what gives the neighborhood its stately look today.

A short stroll to the Presidio and Crissy Field

The Ecology Trail and Lovers’ Lane wind through the Presidio just up the hill, and Crissy Field’s flat, open shoreline frames the Golden Gate Bridge — both easy bookends to a massage appointment.

Quiet enough for celebrities to disappear into

The neighborhood’s Sherman House once hosted opera stars, and guests like Johnny Carson and Barbra Streisand came here precisely because Cow Hollow let them keep a low profile.

Green Street’s architecture tour

One tree-lined block of Green Street shows off nearly every residential style built in San Francisco since the 1860s — a nice pre-appointment walk if you arrive early.
